Shapotou Desert Cultural Identity: Eco-cultural Tourism Management
Main Article Content
Abstract
Shapotou Desert Cultural Identity: Eco-cultural Tourism Management focuses primarily on the relationship between natural resources, ecological cultural resources, and the production and living methods of local residents in the Zhongwei section of the Tengger Desert's edge in Ningxia. It aims to identify the development patterns of harmonious coexistence among these three elements and explore the utility of the ecological spatial culture characteristics and human spatial characteristics of the Shapotou area in the Zhongwei section of the Tengger Desert's edge for sustainable tourism development in the region.
The research adopts methods such as data collection, field research, and interdisciplinary studies to investigate the ecological and cultural resources of the Shapotou area. Through the study of the ecological resources, historical and cultural resources, and production and living spaces of three representative villages, it is found that under the influence of Yellow River resources and desert resources, the regional cultural characteristics of the three representative villages are evident, making them effective resources for ecological cultural tourism development.
By integrating resources and conducting symbiotic ecological cultural tourism activities, it not only effectively protects the ecological environment and utilizes ecological resources but also promotes the development of regional cultural characteristics. This approach has practical value for the development of comprehensive tourism, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the Shapotou region.
