The Financial Security of the Elderies in Thailand

Abstract
This academic article aims to provide knowledge and understanding about the concept of the aging society, the situation of the aging society in Thailand, and the financial security of the elderly in Thailand, as well as previous studies related to the financial security of the elderly in Thailand. Because Thailand has become an aging society, many elderly people are not ready to spend money on daily living. Understanding the causes and factors associated with financial stability will help formulate proposals for improving the quality of life of the elderly in Thailand. However, from the previous studies, there are still no clear criteria for determining the financial stability of the elderly. Conducting studies on such topics can be further developed in the future. To understand financial security in more contexts or dimensions. To be useful in preparing management policy recommendations to improve the quality of life of the elderly in Thailand. From the previous studies, important guidelines for increasing financial security for the elderly in Thailand have been proposed as follows: Promote the establishment of social welfare funds in the community. Expand coverage of the elderly living allowance system and establish a national pension system that covers populations currently not covered by it.
