Model of Vocational Education Management of Bachelor Program of Technology with Work Integrated Learning

Abstract

          The purpose of this research was to develop a management model for vocational technology graduate programs according to the approach with work integrating learning. The conduct of the research consists of 3 steps: 1) A study of the approaches for managing vocational education in Bachelor of Technology programs according to the approach with work integrated learning by studying relevant documents and research. Interviewed 3 experts and interviewed 3 educational institutions with good practice. 2) Creating a management model for undergraduate vocational education in the Bachelor of Technology program according to the approach with work integrated learning. The information from Step 1 was used to draft the development of the model and examined the suitability of the model with an expert-based seminar with 9 experts, and 3) To evaluate the management model for undergraduate vocational education in Bachelor of Technology Program according to the approach with work integrating learning .The samples are selected from 369 subjects comprising institute directors, director of the vocational graduate office, director and teacher responsible for the curriculum .survey research using purposive sampling. The research instrument use  evaluation of feasibility and usefulness .The statistical tools use for data analysis are mean and standard deviation.
          The research results showed that the management model for vocational technology graduate programs according to the approach f with work integrated learning consisted of 5 components: 1) educational management principles, 2) objectives of the model, 3) resources in educational management. 4) educational management process and 5) quality of graduates. The results of examining the vocational education management model of the Bachelor of Technology Program according to the guidelines with work integrated learning. It was found that the experts considered it appropriate. As for the results of the evaluation of the vocational education management model in the Bachelor of Technology Program according to the guidelines with work integrated learning, it was found that it was feasible. and the usefulness is at a high level as well.
