Guidelines for the Potential Development of Nakha Silk Product Community Enterprise Udon Thani Province

Abstract

          The research study were three objectives: (1) to study the competitiveness of Naka silk products community enterprise, Udon Thani Province (2) to study the environment for developing the potential of Nakha silk products community enterprise, Udon Thani Province and (3) to study guidelines for developing the potential of Nakha silk community enterprise, Udon Thani Province. The researcher conducted the research with qualitative research by using in-depth interviews from key informants about Nakha silk community enterprise, 25 people and focus group, 6 people.
           The results were concluded that: (1) foundation economy of community enterprises, product value creation, management characteristic and abilities, including consumer behavior reflects the competitiveness of Naka silk products community enterprise, Udon Thani Province (2) The environment for the development of enterprise potential based on the findings from the following factors: 1) internal factors, namely the Board of Directors and group members, group management, participation of group members, learning promotion, funding, and products 2) external factors, namely society, culture, information technology, economic conditions, politics, networking laws, supporting from outside agencies, competitors, customers, and owners of production factors; and (3) Guidelines of the potential development of Nakha Silk Community Enterprise, Udon Thani Province, namely creating a cost advantage, differentiating in the style of silk products, developing the capability of community enterprises, targeting a specific market, and creating image that meets modern needs for young people to continue to learn.
