The Development of active learning model using SQ6R technique together with KWL Plus to promote reading comprehension ability for Prathomsuksa 6 Students

Abstract

         The objectives of this research were 1) to study the problems and needs for the development of an active learning management model using the SQ6R technique in conjunction with KWL Plus to promote reading comprehension ability; for Prathomsuksa 6 students, 2) to develop an active learning management model using the SQ6R technique in conjunction with KWL Plus to promote reading comprehension ability for Prathomsuksa 6 students, and 3) to study the results of using Proactive learning management model with SQ6R technique combined with KWL Plus to promote reading comprehension ability. For Prathomsuksa 6 students, the sample group was Prathomsuksa 6/2 students at Thetsaban 1 Kalasin Pittayasit School. Kalasin Province, semester 1/2565, number 32 students, derived from group selection. The research tools were interview forms, quality check forms, learning management plan satisfaction questionnaire The statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test.

The results of the research were as follows: 1. The results of the study of problems and needs for model development of administrators, teachers of Thai language. and study supervisor 2. The results of the model development consisted of 6 components, namely basic concepts and theories, objectives, instructional management procedures, social system, principles of response, and learning process. and support system The assessment result was at a high level ( = 4.34, S.D.= 0.60). According to the specified criteria (E₁/E₂ = 82.98/83.23) and the students' reading comprehension scores were higher after the study than before. with statistical significance at the .05 level and satisfaction at the high level ( = 4.39, S.D.= 0.56).
