Health is long-term wealth
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to point out that most people in Thailand and around the globe may have encountered crises and high competition within the capitalist economy. Perhaps, overworking poses a risk of impairing health problems such as illness, and depression. Exasperatingly, those problems result in difficulties of our lives (i.e. financial hardship, a relationship problem, long-term low-quality of life, and so on). In order to prevent those problems, maintaining a healthy lifestyle every single day will become a habit and then a discipline (respectively); any success is anyhow based on good health. Eventually, when the State considers an active exercise as a national exercise (a.k.a. a preventive public policy) toward public health funding, the government may not allocate unnecessary budgets thereto because people are healthy and thus drive the country’s long-term economic growth. On the other hand, individual well-being will turn into both household wealth and public one sustainably.
