Volunteer organize activities and the effect of volunteer organize activities on underprivileged children

Abstract
The research aims to study the the Characteristics of Volunteer Activities at Homes for Underprivileged Children and the impact of volunteering activities on underprivileged children. The research methodology is Qualitative Research. 8 participants selected by purposive sampling method were involved in the research. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, focus group, and participant observation. The data was analyzed by content analysis and triangulation. The results suggest that:
The characteristics of volunteer activities organized at the home for underprivileged children can be categorized as follows: (1) recreational activities to build relationships Create happiness for underprivileged children (2) Luncheon activity (3) Gift donation activity (4) Teaching activity
The process of organizing volunteer activities for underprivileged children can be divided into 3 steps: (1) Preparation before starting volunteer activities. The club committee together with the advisor Jointly write a volunteer project plan to propose for budget approval. To carry out volunteer activities. (2) The process of organizing volunteer activities. It is a division of duties for each department. with the recreation department, the kitchen department, the venue department, and the academic department to prepare the equipment in each department to be ready on the day of the event (3) Evaluation process after organizing volunteer activities Assessment of project success Target groups to participate in activities and assessing the satisfaction of participants in volunteer activities to bring the information obtained from the evaluation Summarize results and close the project budget.
The impact of volunteering activities on underprivileged children It consists of the effects of volunteer activities, which are (1) activities that are inappropriate for the age of underprivileged children; (2) inappropriate speech by those who participate in volunteer activities with underprivileged children; (3) Inappropriate attire of those who go to volunteer activities (4) Arrangement of luncheon activities that cause physical and mental effects to underprivileged children (4) Donation of inappropriate items for underprivileged children (5) Discrete activities.
