The Participation of People on Performance of Kutbak Sub-District Municipal Developing Plan of Kutbak District in Saonnakhon Province

Abstract

          The main objective of this research was to study the people's participation in the preparation of the development plan of Kut Bak Subdistrict Municipality, Kut Bak District, Sakon Nakhon Province. The sample group used in this research was 226 household heads living in the municipality of Kut, using the Yamane formula (Ymane, 1967). The instrument was used to collect data. It was a questionnaire consisting of 3 parts content. The questionnaire's confidence value was 0.88, the statistics used in the data analysis. are descriptive statistics, i.e. number, percentage, mean, and standard deviation for the general data of the sample. Inferential statistics were T-test and F-test for comparing the participation of people in Kut Bak Subdistrict Municipality, Sakon Nakhon, classified by personal status.
         The results showed that people's participation in the development plan of Kut Bak Subdistrict Municipality, Kut Bak District, Sakon Nakhon Province. Overall, it was at a high level ( = 3.98, SD = 0.47) and when considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest mean was participation in decision-making ( = 4.12, SD = 0.59), followed by Participation in operations ( = 3.97, SD = 0.56) and the least mean aspect was participation in the assessment ( = 3.90, SD = 0.65). in preparing the development plan for the municipality of Kut Bak Subdistrict, Kut Bak District, Sakon Nakhon Province classified by personal status Overall, it was found that Sex was significantly different at the 0.05 level. In terms of age, education level, occupation and monthly income. It was found that there were no differences. Recommendations for the development of people's participation in the preparation of the development plan for the municipality of Kut Bak Subdistrict, Kut Bak District, Sakon Nakhon Province, namely, activities should be created for people to participate in the decision making of the development plan of the sub-district municipality.
