A Study of Learning Achievement and the Satisfacton of Mathayomsuksa 3 Students on Buddhism by Using an Electronic Book

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were 1) to develop an electronic book (e-book) 2) To compare the students' learning achievement before and after by using an electronic book (e-book)  3) To study the students' satisfaction by using an electronic books (e-book). The samples used in this study were 67 students, 2 classes of MathayomSuksa 3 students consisting of 35 students of class 3/6 and 32 students of class 3/7 at the Demonstration School of Ramkhamhaeng University (Secondary School) in the first semester of 2021 academic year. The samples were randomly selected by Lottery methods. The tools used in this research were electronic books (e-book, a teaching  plan, pre and post achievement test, Students’ satisfaction measurement questionnaire on an electronic book (e-book) The data were statistically analyzed by mean ( X ), standard deviation (S.D.), hypothesis test with t-test (dependent).The results of the research were 1) an electronic book (e-book) on the history of Buddha images from various postures and summarizes the history of Buddha images with efficiency according to the set criteria is 80/80 2) the students' learning achievement by using an electronic book (e-book) on the history of Buddha images in various postures and summarizes the history of Buddha images found that the achievement after studying was significantly higher than the achievement before studying at the .05 level. 3) The students' satisfaction with the electronic book (e-book) on the history of Buddha images in various postures and summarizes the history of Buddha images was at a high level (X =4.07 S.D.= .54)
