The Factors affecting the Quality of Life of Elderly People in Tai Thung Sub-district Administrative Organization, Phichit Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study: 1) the quality of life of the elderly in the Tai Thung Subdistrict Administrative Organization; 2) to compare personal factors with the quality of life of the elderly in the Tai Thung Subdistrict Administrative Organization; and 3) the guidelines. Improve the quality of life of the elderly in the Tai Thung Subdistrict Administrative Organization area Use a quantitative research methodology. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a conformance index of 0.863. Data were collected with 315 elderly people by substituting the values ​​in the Yamane formula. The statistics were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test. F-test and qualitative research The tool used was an interview form, collecting data with 19 key informants by choosing a specific model. analyzed using analytical techniques by forming conclusions.
          The results showed that 1) the quality of life of the elderly in Tai Sub-district Administrative Organization area 2) The elderly of different status and educational level had different opinions on the quality of life of the elderly in Tai Thung Sub-district Administrative Organization area, but not different in other aspects. 3) There are 4 guidelines for improving the quality of life of the elderly as follows: (1) laying out guidelines to promote stability in the life of the elderly and their families; (2) defining measures plans and policies to organize the physical environment within the elderly's family; (3) to build a care network within the community. through collaboration with the VHV, the elderly and community leaders; and (4) systematic health care for the elderly. through continuous service supervision through a holistic mix
