Guidelines for Developing the Operation of Elderly School in Ladkhae Sub-District, Chondaen District, Phetchabun Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were 1) to study the performance of the elderly school, 2) to study the expectations of the elderly towards the operation of the elderly school, and 3) to study the problems, obstacles and guidelines for the school operation. elderly proceed according to the integrated research methodology during quantitative research is an exploratory research From distributing questionnaires to 2 groups of elderly people, 100 attending school by using the whole population. and the elderly in the sub-district of 325 people. The values ​​were substituted in the Yamane formula using statistics that were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and qualitative research Based on in-depth interviews with 12 key informants, conclusions were analyzed. The results of the research were as follows: 1. School results for the elderly found that school results for the elderly The overall picture was at a high level. 2. Expectations of the elderly towards school operation for the elderly found that the expectation of the elderly towards school operation for the elderly The overall picture was at a high level. 3. the problems, obstacles, and demand were that the organization should allocate the budget to support the activities of the school, and provide the activity in the recreation to get together in the communities, and the guidelines for the operation of elderly school were that the school should have the strong leaders, provide the activities continuously, make the network of the leaders in the communities and the network of the elderly, give the importance to the network partners, learn and develop the operation continuously, evaluate the operation intermittently, and learn  and develop the strength and the weakness of the school. Moreover, the local government should support the budget, personnel, and the coordination of the network in driving the operation of the elderly school.
