The Operation by the Role and Duty of Public Health Volunteers for the Villages in Nong Bua Sub–District Of Muang District in Nong Bua Lamphu Province

Abstract

          The main objectives of this research were to study the roles and duties of public health volunteers in Nong Bua Subdistrict Village, Muang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. The sample group used in this research was the population in Nong Bua Sub-district, Muang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. Using the formula of Taro Yamane (Ymane. 1973 : 125), a total of 375 people were obtained. It is a questionnaire consisting of 3 parts: statistics used in data analysis. are descriptive statistics, i.e. number, percentage, mean, and standard deviation for the general data of the sample. Inferential statistics were T-test and F-test for comparing the level of performance of roles and duties of public health volunteers in Nong Bua Sub-District Village, Muang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province. classified by gender, age, educational level and occupation.
          The results showed that the performance according to the roles and duties of the public health volunteers in Nong Bua Subdistrict Village, Mueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province Overall, it was at a good level ( = 3.92, S.D. = 0.50) and when considering each aspect It was found that the side with the highest mean was health behavior adjustment by acting as a model and creating health behaviors in the community ( = 4.05, S.D. = 0.77), followed by the aspect of taking care of health insurance benefits and public health in the villages ( = 3.96, S.D. = 0.72) and the aspect with the mean. The least is the aspect of providing public health services to the people. (from own experience or those in their care) ( = 3.88, S.D. = 0.72) The results of comparing the level of performance of roles and duties of the village health volunteers in Nong Bua Sub-district, Mueang District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province classified by sex, age, educational level and occupation.
