A Study of Learning Achievement and the Satisfaction in English on “At The Weekend” by Learning from Electronic Books of Prathomsuksa 5 in Watmabpho School

Abstract

          The purposes of this study were: 1) to create and find out the efficiency of electronics book “At the Weekend” for Prathomsuksa 5 to attain standard criteria at 80/80, 2) to compare the learning achievement of English Language 5 before and after using electronics books “At the Weekend” 3) to study the satisfaction of the student towards learning with electronics books “At the Weekend” in English language for Prathomsuksa 5. The samples in this study were 11 students of Prathomsuksa 5 at Watmabpho School, Amphoe Phachi, Pranakornsri Ayuttaya Province by Purposive sampling. The instruments of this study were 1) Electronics books “At the Weekend” 2)English lesson plan for Prathomsuksa 5 3) The achievement test 4) The satisfaction questionnaire of the students. The data were analyzed statistically using the E1/E2 efficiency index, mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.) and t-test Dependent.
          The results of this study revealed as the following;
         1) The efficiency of electronics books “At the Weekend” for Prathomsuksa 5 was 81.06 / 82.84 that corresponded to 80/80 set criteria.
          2) Post-test learning achievement of students who learnt via electronic books “At the Weekend” for Prathomsuksa 5 was higher than pre-test with statistically significant level at .05
          3) The students' satisfaction towards learning with electronics books “At the Weekend” for Prathomsuksa 5 was at the highest level in general ( =4.69, S.D.=0.47)
