Comparison of Learning Achievement in Thai Language Subject on Lilit Taleng Pai of Grade 11 Students at Sriyapai School, Taught by Using Practice Books and Traditional Teaching Method

Abstract

          The objectives of this independent study were: 1)To develop and determine the efficiency of Thai language practice book on Lilit Taleng Pai of Grade 11 students to achieve the efficiency criteria at 80/80, 2) to compare the learning achievement of Thai language subject on Lilit Taleng Pai of the Grade 11  students the practice book and traditional teaching method. 3)study the satisfaction of Grade 11 students towards teaching using a Thai language practice book on Lilit Taleng Pai. The sample was Grade 11  students at Sriyapai School who have enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 2021, which were obtained based on a simple random sampling by drawing lots from two classrooms. Research instruments were 1) practice books 2) learning management plan using practice books, 3) learning management plan using a traditional teaching method, 4) Test to measure learning achievement, 5) Questionnaire on satisfaction Data were analyzed using statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test independent.
          The major findings indicated as follows
          1) Thai language  practice book on Lilit Taleng Pai of Grade 11 students was 81.54/82.44, which met the efficiency criteria at 80/80.
          2) The learning achievement of Thai language subject on Lilit Taleng Pai of the Grade 11 students using the practice book was higher than that using a traditional teaching method with a statistical significance level of .05.
          3) The satisfaction of Grade 11  students towards teaching using a Thai language practice book on Lilit Taleng Pai was at the highest level.
