The Model of Strategic Management to Development Educational Institutions towards Excellence at Princess Chulabhorn Science High School Buriram

Abstract

          The objective of this research was to develop a strategic management model to develop educational institutions towards excellence at Princess Chulabhorn Science High School Buriram. The research procedures conducted in mixed methods consisted of 4 phases. The first phase 32 informants, 73 teachers and 9 experts. The second phase. 9 experts for evaluation of Model. The third phase the 32 informants, 73 teachers and 252 students. Research instruments were the semi-structured interview, questionnaire and evaluation form. The mean, standard deviation and priority need of index were to analyze data.
           The research findings were summarized as follows: that The strategic management model to develop educational institutions towards excellence at Princess Chulabhorn Science High School Buriram consists of five components: 1) Principles 2) Objectives 3) Methods of operation of the model with systems and mechanisms of Strategic management consists of analysis of the environment. Strategy Putting Strategy into Action and supervision, monitoring, and evaluation consists of 3 areas of operation: (1) Management consists of course management and evaluation. Management of learning subject groups Management of media/learning resources that are conducive to teaching and learning and the promotion of cooperation networks; (2) teachers, consisting of raising awareness and motivation; teaching and learning process development and encouraging teachers and personnel to develop themselves; and (3) students, consisting of academic development. physical development and mental/moral development; 4) measurement and evaluation; and 5) conditions for applying the model. The overall evaluation of appropriateness and potentiality in applying the proposed model was all found at the highest level.
