The Administration of Information System for Sustainable Management in Secondary school Under the jurisdiction of the basic Education Commission

Abstract

          The aims of the  research are  1)  to study the situation of information and technology  system  for  sustainable management in secondary school under the jurisdiction of the Basic Education Comission. 2) to study guidelines on  information and technology system  for  sustainable management and also for the quality of  the  PDCA  Cycle in  School Development Plan of secondary school under the jurisdiction of the Basic Education Comission. The research  are both quantitative  and qualificative.  In term of  quantitative, there are totally 331 persons. They are school directors or teachers responsible for information system from secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Basic Education Comission.  To cover all school sizes from every regional education office, stratified sampling and simple random sampling are used.  Collecting data and  questionnaires are used. Standard Deviation and Average Mean  are  used in data analysis
          The research reveals that  1) the situation of the management as a whole is high . Considering by item , the average of every aspect is high. They are respectively operating , planning , check , and  improving & development. 2)   Guidelines on  information and technology system  for  sustainable management and also for the quality of  the  PDCA  Cycle in  School Development Plan of secondary school are as follows :  1) Planning : Use plan / Data correction at least once per scholar year,  overall school need assessment, awareness raising in using  the information  & technology in school development should be done. 2) Operating : to get rid of any risk , increase ways  and  responsible persons for internet  service, not  only by one person should be performed. To develop technology on information system should be easily accessible and practical. Varieties of information of all networks and links in accordance with the needs of all users at all levels should be provided.  Operating on Information & Technology  system needs the participation of all parties namely executive  persons and teachers who should be trained on usefulness of Information. 3) Check : to develop information system for easily access to necessary data should be controlled by school responsible person in order that it could be flexible to any school context as well as for the follow up and for the information system development continuously including previous uses and feasibility forecast in school development. 4)  Improving &development :  more competent data approvers for school information system should be nominated by responsible person for the school information system in order to improve and to develop according to process the development in accordance with the PDCA.
