Visual Literacy Approach in 21st Century

Abstract
This article aims to concept of visual literacy as a guideline for applying learning management that promotes visual intelligence among learners in the 21st century.. The level of visual intelligence is divided into 2 levels: 1) the level of classification, which is observation and analysis; 2) the level of integration, which is the connection between one's own experiences with what is seen. Information from what you see and presenting information that is seen creatively The process of promoting visual intelligence has three levels: 1) the level of learning from the visual 2) thinking from the visual and 3) presenting the information from the visible. Learning media used to develop visual intelligence can be divided into 5 categories: 1) picture books, comic books, 2) name tags, advertisements, brochures, posters, 3) dramas and movies, 4) part-time reading books, and 5) social networks. This concept is approach todevelopment of visual intelligence competence helps to develop observation skills. The process of thinking, analyzing, reflecting, and valuing from what is seen. to choose to use them to develop themselves to live happily in the present
