The Successful learning and Teaching of Pālī

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were (1) to study the generality of the teaching and learning for Pālīdivsion in the present (2) to study the form of learning and teaching for Pālīdivision and (3) to present guidelines for learning and teaching for Pālīin success. The research methodology Collecting research data in the first-class document using the Tripitaka and secondary documents using documents, textbooks, research reports and field with interviews with 15 key informants using inductive analysis method.
          The results showed that 1) The first study of objective on  the generality of learning and teaching of Pālīin the present  in found that a curriculum of Pālīis the Buddha’s teaching recorded in Tetipiṭaka, i.e. Dhammapada is the teaching from the scripture of Khuddakanikāya Dhammapada  which is classified for the Pālīgrade 1-2 to 9 namely 2) The successful Mali teaching model was found that the current model was an annual exam. Examination is held once a year. Not focusing on making lesson plans, that is, teaching in order of content. (Use the same curriculum) 3) Guidelines for teaching and learning Pali to be successful, it was found that the school should manage teaching and learning based on the Second Pa Pani Sutta, i.e. (1) Chakkuma, having a vision, looking at the whole body.
