A Development of Managerial Administration in Technical Colleges Under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission

Abstract

          This research aimed to 1) Study the level of managerial administration in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission 2) Study the components of managerial administration in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission and 3) Study the development of managerial administration in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission. This research is quantitative oriented and the sample group was chosen by purposive sampling and composed of 396 people including directors, deputy directors and administrative supervisors in technical colleges. The tools for data collection were questionnaire and in-depth interview. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.
          The result showed that; 
          1) The result from the analysis for the level of managerial administration in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission revealed the level of managerial administration in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission at very good ( =4.21, SD=0.7859). 2) The result from the components of managerial administration in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission revealed the administrative planning ( =4.20, SD=0.7994), document task ( =4.12, SD=0.7687), finance and accounting ( =4.27, SD=0.8131),  supplies and equipment ( =4.16, SD=0.7971), human resource ( =4.22, SD=0.7378), and appraisal task ( = 4.28, SD=0.7992) 3) The result from the analysis for development of managerial administration in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission revealed 1) Operation planning 2) Implementation of plan 3) Appraisal 4) Improvement from evaluation at significance level of 0.01
