Factors Affecting the Employment of New Graduates For Public Companies in Thailand during Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) Study the level of factors affecting the employment of new graduates for public companies in Thailand during Covid-19 pandemic 2) Study the factors affecting the employment of 729 new graduates for public companies in Thailand during Covid-19 pandemic. The research was quantitative oriented and operated by stratified sampling of Krejcie & Morgan. The sample group of 248 people were supervisors of human resource department in public companies in Thailand composed of 58.97% female and 41.03% male, the majority aged between 41-50 (51.28%), obtained master degree (51.28%), and had work experience between 11-20 years (46.15%). Questionnaire was the tool for data collection. The statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The result showed that;
1) Level of factors affecting the employment of new graduates for public companies in Thailand during Covid-19 pandemic revealed all aspects were at high level ( =3.68, SD=0.7192). 2) Factors affecting the employment of new graduates for public companies in Thailand revealed (1) Creativity ( =3.81, SD=0.6837), (2) Adaptability ( =3.60, SD=0.7563), (3) Persuasion ( =3.62, SD=0.7780), (4) Teamwork ( =3.62, SD=0.6725), (5) Emotional intelligence ( =3.49, SD=0.7514), (6) Time management ( =3.75, SD=0.5822), (7) Analytical and critical thinking ( =3.64, SD=0.6892), (8) Communication ( =3.75, SD=0.7563), (9) Complex problem solving ( =3.79, SD=0.77460), (10) Decision making ( =3.73, SD=0.7474).
