The Factor in Students Decision to Study Vocational Dual Diploma in Buriram Technical College, Buriram Province

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study and compare the factors in deciding to study in Dual Vocational Education system of Vocational Certificate students, Buriram Technical College, Buriram Province, which classified by gender, Program type, and parents’ income. The sample group used in the research consisted of 464 students studying at the 3rd year Vocational Certificate level in the academic year 2020. The instruments used by the researcher in the research were a 5-level estimation scale, t-Test and one-way ANOVA analysis and paired difference comparison by Scheffe's test.
The results of the research found that
1. Decision to study in Dual Vocational Training System of the 3rd year Vocational Certificate students, Buriram Technical College, Buriram Province in overall and every aspect was at a high level.
2. Comparison the factors in deciding to study in Dual Vocational Education system of Vocational Certificate students, Buriram Technical College, Buriram Province, which classified by gender, Program type, and parents’ income.
2.1 Comparison of the decision to study in Dual Vocational Training system of the 3rd year Vocational Certificate students at Buriram Technical College, Buriram Province, classified by gender in overall and every aspect was not different, except for the educational values of the parents, which there was a statistically significant difference at .05.
2.2 Comparison of the decision to study in Dual Vocational Training system of the 3rd year Vocational Certificate students at Buriram Technical College, Buriram Province classified by Program type in overall and every aspect was different. There was a statistically significant difference at .05 except for skills and professional experience.
2.3 Comparison of the decision to study in the Dual Vocational Training system of the 3rd year Vocational Certificate students at Buriram Technical College, Buriram Province classified by parents’ income in overall and every aspect was not different.
