Abstract
Society has a variety of ideas and expressions. This results in personal and organizational conflicts. And causing inefficiency of the operations within the educational institutions and effectiveness. Therefore, the administrators are the key players in managing conflicts at an appropriate level so that they do not cause damage to the organization and are useful for the management of education. The objective of this study was to 1) study guidelines for conflict management of school administrators under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 group 6 and 2) study develop conflicts management of school administrators under Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 group 6. The sample group in this research consisted of 254 government teachers and administrators. The tools used in this study was 5 level rating scale questionnaires consisted of 30 questions and structured interview.
The confidence level equals to 0.86. Data were collected by the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The research results were as follows:
1. Conflict management of the school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 1 group 6 was overall at a high level ( =4.44). The rankings highest to lowest were based on the following aspect compromising, allowing, cooperation, avoidance and the lowest practical of conflict management was overcoming
2. Guidelines for the development of conflicts management of school administrators under Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 group 6. Administrators have the guidelines for the development of conflict management accordingly. 2.1Compromising, administrators try to solve problems. 2.2Allowing, administrators negotiate all parties agree on rather than negotiate all parties have different opinions. 2.3Overcoming, administrators seek reasons to achieve the goals by overcoming behavior. 2.4Cooperation, administrators achieve their goals by aware of different opinions. 2.5Avoidance, administrators reduce conflict without causing concern.
