Abstract

          This research is a document research. with purpose 1) to study the problem of legal measures in the use of modern technology to reduce the dangers of using cars in Thailand and  2) to propose ways to improve legal measures in the use of modern technology to reduce the dangers of using cars. cars in Thailand It is a qualitative research. by conducting research studies Collect data from relevant documents (Documentary Research) such as the Road Traffic Act B.E. 2522 and its amendments. Car Act, B.E. 2522 and its amendments as well as guidelines for foreign traffic operations. as well as data sheets Study and research on the use of technology to assist drivers and road users in foreign countries, books, textbooks, theses, documents, articles, judgments of courts in Thailand and abroad Information from the Internet The research results were analyzed using content analysis. The results showed that Legal measures relating to the use of cars in Thailand are in accordance with the main laws, namely the Road Traffic Act B.E. 2522 and the Motor Vehicle Act B.E. 2522 (1979). This does not facilitate the adoption of modern technology to reduce the dangers of motor vehicle use. use a car There are four problems and obstacles: 1) Difficulty in amending traffic laws; 2) Lack of severe penalties and strict enforcement of the law; 3) Lack of unity of agencies involved in managing the traffic system; and 4) Lack of concrete support for traffic technology policies from the government and guidelines for improving legal measures by providing a law requiring the introduction of modern technology as an accessory to be installed in the vehicle The imposition of harsher penalties for law enforcement along with strict enforcement of cut-off and revocation of driver's licenses. And the government should have a concrete policy to support traffic technology. as well as establishing a central authority that has the power to manage traffic information systems and integrate traffic work with other agencies in a unified way.
