A Development of Excellence Model of Dual Vocational Education Management in Technical Colleges Under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission

Abstract
This research had objectives 1) to study the level of excellence in dual vocational education management in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission 2) to analyze components affecting excellence in dual vocational education management in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission and 3) to develop excellence model for dual vocational education management in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission. This was Research and Development based and operated with explanatory mixed method. The sampling was purposive sampling with 396 people consisted of directors, deputy directors in academic department, and heads of dual vocational education management working in technical colleges. The data collection was performed with questionnaire and the data analysis was completed through Structural Equation Model (SEM) or Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL).
The result showed
1) The level of excellence in dual vocational education management in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission was at the highest level (M=4.60, SD=0.42)
2) The components affecting excellence in dual vocational education management in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission revealed that the model was consistent with empirical data by considering the statistical value for conformity verification between the model and empirical data as c2= 79.573, df = 61, c2/df=1.304, p-value = 0.55, GFI = 0.972, AGFI = 0.952, RMSEA = 0.028
3)The model for dual vocational education management for excellence in technical colleges under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission showed that the dual vocational education management was process started from the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, technical colleges with effective management to learners with targeted characteristics.
