Development of Additional Reading Books on Profession Subject-Agricultural Works Based on IMTEAC Model Learning for Students in Prathom Suksa 4, Ban Klong Luang School

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were 1) to create and analyze the effectiveness of additional reading books on agriculture works as accordance to standard criteria 80/80 2) to compare the learning achievements of learners between learning based on IMTEAC Model with additional reading books and learning based on IMTEAC Model but without additional reading books. The respondent of the study was selected 72 students from the 2 classrooms in Prathom Suksa 4 at Ban Klong Luang School under the Sample Random Sampling method. The methodology was separated 35 students from Prathom Suksa 4 as the experimental group by studying additional reading books based on IMTEAC Model and 37 students from Prathom Suksa 4 as the control group by studying based on IMTEAC Model without additional reading books. Additionally, there was an effectiveness- testing group for additional reading books for the 42 respondent , which based on  Stratified Random Sampling and  Simple  Random Sampling method. The research tools were 1) additional reading books on agricultural works 2) the lesson plans about agricultural works and 3) the learning achievement tests about agricultural works with Reliability value at 0.80 under Randomized Group, Pre-test and Post-test design. And, data analyzation was based on statistical percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test independent.
          The research findings found that:
          1. The result of additional reading books presented effectiveness value at 81.23/82, which belonged to standard criteria 80/80. 2. The result of learning achievement on studying with additional reading books-agricultural works based on IMTEAC Model indicated at high level, in which it was higher than studying based on IMTEAC Model but without additional reading books. Therefore, this point presented findings as statistically significant at .05
