The Development of Social Innovation Creative Ability in Geography Using Design Thinking Process for Mathayom-Five Students

Abstract

          This research aims to 1) Comparison of learning achievements in Geography of Mathayom 5 students after using design thinking  process with criteria 70 percent. 2) To study ability of creating social innovation after using design thinking process. 3) To study the process of Design Thinking after using design thinking process. The sample of this research consisted of 31 Mathayom 5/1 students. Chanhunbamphen School in the first semester during the academic year 2020. Using the Simple Random Sampling. The research instruments consisted of 1) The learning management plan 2) A learning achievements test 3) Ability test for Creative Society Innovation 4) The evaluation of Design Thinking Process. The collected data was analyzed by mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test dependent and content analysis. The result of the study are the follows: 1) The learning achievements for Geography of Mathayom 5 Students after using design thinking process was higher than criteria 70 percent as the level of 0.5 significance. 2) The ability of creating social innovation after using design thinking process was good level. 3) The design thinking process after using design thinking process was good level.
