Covid-19 Crisis Changing the Thai agricultural sector to a New Normal

Abstract

          This academic article was to study the process of changing the Thai agricultural sector to a new Normal under the COVID-19 crisis. It was found that the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy that His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, bestowed upon him as an answer to Thailand both now and in the future. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic This sufficiency economy aims to enable everyone to be self-reliant, to develop themselves better, to be sustainable on the basis of “Modesty, Reasonableness and Good Immunity” Adopting such principles as the principle of integrated farming has changed the way of life in Thai farming to new normal farming practices, which is a guideline. Farming on the basis of self-reliance As a result, farmers have food and use on their own land. As a result, farmers reduce risks and survive without relying on anyone. No need to pay outside the home but make income from the produce that is planted and raised that can come to walk and collect or pick up to weigh a kilo by yourself Which is considered a new way of life in the time of the COVID-19 crisis.
