Abstract
The purposes of this research is to study and compare the opinion of teachers about the essential skill for 21st century of the academic administrators of Benjaburabha consortiums under the secondary education service area office 2, classified by education background and teaching experiences which determine the sample size by using Cohen's table (1988) to select the simple random sampling, 241 teachers.
The research instruments which is used for data collection were the 5 point scale questionnaire consisted of 40 questions. The content validity was about 0.60- 1.00 and the reliability coefficient of Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was 0.994. Statistics which used for data analysis were mean, frequency, percentage, standard deviation, T-test for independent sample and one way analysis of variance. The level of statistic significant reached 0.5, mean comparison in pair using Scheffe's method of multiple comparison tests is applied.
The result of the research are as follows: 1) The overall teacher's opinions towards the essential 21st century skill of the academic administrator at each aspect is in the high level. 2) Teachers who are in different educational background have overall opinions toward the essential 21st century skill of the academic administrator is insignificant difference at the statistical level of 0.5.3) Teachers who are different in teaching experience have overall opinions toward the essential 21st century skill of the academic administrator at each aspect were overall and each aspect which are teamwork skill, technology and digital skill, interpersonal skill shows significant different at the statistical level 0.5. The aspect of creativity skill is no difference. A double testing by Scheffe's method. The result shows the significant statistic result at 0.5. For overall technology and digital perspective, one unlike pair was found between a less than 5 years and over 10 years experience. No dissimilarity was found in other dimensions
