Digital Digital Citizenship of Schools’ Administrators in Piyamit United Campus under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4

Abstract

          This research aimed to study and compare Digital Citizenship of Schools’ Administrators in Piyamit United Campus under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4 classified by positions and durations of work in the current schools. This research was a survey research conducted on a sample of 234 teachers in United Campus, obtained by simple random sampling. Data were collected from Likert's 5-level rating scale questionnaire with reliability coefficient of .96. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-value analysis and one-way analysis of variance. When statistically significant differences were found at the .05 level, the mean scores were used as pairs, using the Scheffé's Post-hoc Comparison test.   
          The study revealed that digital citizenship of the schools’ administrators in Piyamit United Campus according to the teachers' opinions was of high levels while teachers in different positions had indifferent overall opinions on the digital citizenship of schools’ administrators in Piyamit United Campus under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 4. When considered each aspect individually, it was found that the aspect of self-respect and others were statistically different at the .05 level while teachers with the position of K 2 teachers - K 4 teachers had higher opinions than those with the position of assistant teachers – K 1 teachers. No differences were found in other aspects. And teachers with different duration of work in the current schools had significantly different opinions on the digital citizenship of schools’ administrators as a whole at the .05 level. When considered each aspect individually, it was found that the aspect of self-respect and others and the aspect of self-educate and others were different. No differences were found in other aspects.
