Abstract

               This article wants to present Guidelines for the prevention and suppression of crime with objectives For society and community Live peacefully as the crime has decreased as well. Guidelines for crime prevention based on virtue By using the Buddhist doctrine as a measure to prevent crime as follows:


              1) Guidelines for promoting social values, morality According to the principle of Benjasin - Benjatham It is a fundamental principle for the general public. To be the principle of adherence to doing good Ignore evil And purify the mind Which benjasin, a principle that should be refrained and should not be done when comparing criminal offenses And is characterized by a social taboo Including not encroaching on other people's lives Not encroaching on other people's property Non-immoral conduct Not harassing others verbally and in the use of alcohol


             2) Guidelines for reducing social and economic gaps By using the virtue or virtue there must be rules, laws, and social rules that are characterized by distributing opportunities or manipulating them for justice. Social and economic to lead to action is important in matters. Making a living Living environment Public health system Exploitation of resources and duties Praise and praise for those who do good and right. A place to entertain people Society has to have a way to take care of the lost and the disadvantaged is another way to reduce crime. There is also a control of crime. In which there are 3 important actions which are


            Feature 1: Prevention is to prevent, be careful not to betray people, violate criminal law. Or to take care that the wicked have an increased chance of wrongdoing


            The second nature of suppression is to deal with the perpetrators who are dangerous and destroy the peace of society. By arrest The offender may be punished with imprisonment, detention, fines, forfeiting property or exterminating it by execution. According to the penalty rate suitable for the nature of the offense Which looks like an offense for revenge replacement (Retribution), deterrence (Deterrence) and restrain the person (Restraint) from doing wrong another way.


            Feature 3 Correction and rehabilitation of offenders (Rehabilitation) is to train the mind of the offender not to return to the wrongdoing again. This is to improve the conduct of the perpetrator for himself to be a beneficial citizen of society.
