The Synthesis of Community Learning Center Management Model for Self - Management Adopting The King’s Philosophy, Case Study Banglen Community Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

           The objectives of this research were to study: 1) The context of community learning center, 2) Best practice, 3) Factors affected learning center success, and 4) Synthesize community management model. The research was mixed-method research.  It is a quantitative and qualitative research. The research instruments was a questionnaire. The samples were 100 people. Interview forms include executives, committees and members were 20 people.
          The research result showed as:
          1. The situation of the community learning center found that the center operated according to the King's Philosophy. Certified as a model learning center of Nonthaburi Province. There is a development approach that focuses on increasing the efficiency of capital in the community and expanding the results of the development of knowledge of the people. There are sustainability activities and self-management learning, career development and income generation. 2. Best practice was separated into 3 methods, 1) supporting skills capability/knowledge building/ self-learning and self-management, 2) organization knowledge development/the king’s philosophy content which related with life, and 3) condition of learning center management which affected to learning process according to the King’s philosophy. 3. Factors/conditions which created success to learning center consisted 4 factors, 1) policies and management, 2) community learning center participation, 3) participation development with outside, 4) continuation development. and 4. The synthesis of community learning center management model found that there were 3 components: 1) competence, 2) management and 3) development approach according to the King’s philosophy. which was the model that assessed from expert and the result showed, every aspects had mean score more than 4.00 which showed that the model can use.
