Main Article Content
บทคัดย่อ
With the continuous emergence of new technologies and inventions, digital technology has injected new vitality into the development of contemporary public art, especially the widespread application of technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), which have enabled public art to transform from traditional static expression to dynamic immersive experience. With the support of digital technology, contemporary public art has broken through the limitations of physics and materials, not only improving creative efficiency, but also providing vast space for innovation in art forms. The introduction of digital tools enables artists to use computer software for rapid composition and 3D modeling, thereby shaping more complex and diverse art forms. At the same time, the popularization of Internet technology has expanded public art from physical space to virtual space, and promoted real-time interaction and in-depth participation of the audience and art. Especially with the rapid development of digital media and virtual technology, these technologies have become indispensable and important means in contemporary public art creation. This article starts from the perspective of the development of public art, systematically sorts out the typical applications of digital technology in practice, including virtual cultural heritage display, immersive art installations, and interactive light and shadow art, and deeply explores its significance and value in contemporary society. Through theoretical analysis and case studies, this article aims to reveal how digital technology can drive the transformation of public art forms, providing reference and inspiration for the future development of the public art field.
