เทคนิคการบรรเลงไซโลโฟนที่พัฒนาขึ้นจากความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมของดนตรีไทยและดนตรีตะวันตก เพื่อสร้างองค์ความรู้ใหม่ให้กับวงการดนตรี และเสริมสร้างคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมของประเทศไทย

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยสร้างสรรค์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาดนตรีเทคนิคการตีเครื่องกระทบแบบดนตรีไทยและแบบดนตรีร่วมสมัยจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ อาจารย์ภาวัช หลวงสุนทร เปรียบเทียบกับเทคนิคการตีแบบเครื่องดนตรีตะวันตก 2) เพื่อสร้างเทคนิคการบรรเลงไซโลโฟนจากองค์ความรู้การตีเครื่องกระทบของดนตรีไทย เพื่อใช้ในการแสดงดนตรีร่วมสมัย โดยมีการประยุกต์ใช้เฉพาะสำหรับการบรรเลงบทเพลง "The Concerto for Piano, Percussion, and Winds" ประพันธ์โดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์จินวัฒน์ มั่นทรัพย์ นำแสดงโดยผู้วิจัย เกษม ทิพย์เมธากุล ในฐานะนักดนตรีเดี่ยวเครื่องกระทบ ขั้นตอนการวิจัยมี ดังนี้ 1) ศึกษาองค์ความรู้ที่เกี่ยวข้อง 2) สร้างสรรค์เทคนิค และ 3) ทดลอง วิเคราห์ และนำไปใช้จริง ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า 1) เทคนิคการตีเครื่องกระทบจากดนตรีไทย เช่น การจับไม้ ตำแหน่งการจับไม้ มีความแตกต่างจากดนตรีตะวันตก 2) การประยุกต์ใช้เทคนิคการจับไม้และการตีจากเครื่องดนตรีไทยจากกการตีระนาดเอกมาผสมผสานกับเทคนิคแบบตะวันตก สามารถช่วยให้นักดนตรีเครื่องกระทบสามารถเรียนรู้การเล่นไซโลโฟนได้รวดเร็วขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ โดยผู้วิจัยได้ผลจากการศึกษาเป็น “เกษมเทคนิค” สามารถสรุปได้เป็นเจ็ดหัวข้อ ดังนี้ 1.วิธีการถือไม้ 2. ตำแหน่งการวางมือ 3. กลไกการใช้นิ้วมือ 4. การสั่นข้อมือ 5. ท่าทางการยืนและการเคลื่อนไหวด้านข้าง 6. การควบคุมระดับเสียง 7. การแบ่งระดับการควบคุมระดับเสียง ผลจากงานวิจัยสร้างสรรค์นั้น หลังจากการนำไปในการแสดงต่อสาธารณะพบว่า “เกษมเทคนิค” สามารถช่วยลดระยะเวลาการซ้อม นำไปใช้บรรเลงเพลงได้จริงในระยะสองถึงสามเดือน
