           This paper explores the application of semiotics in contemporary Yellow River painting art. The Yellow River culture is an important part of Chinese civilization, which is reflected in paintings and has profound historical and cultural value and deep artistic charm. This paper uses semiotics to reinterpret and reconstruct the symbols of Yellow River culture, and explores its expression and functional transformation in contemporary art.
