THE EFFECTS OF SAFETY KNOWLEDGE AND SAFETY CLIMATE TOWARDS SAFETY BEHAVIOR OF CONTRACTOR IN LEAM CHABANG INDUSTRIAL ESTATE

Abstract

The purpose of this research study were 1) to analyze the level of Safety Knowledge Safety Climate and Safety Behavior 2) to analyze the effect of Safety Climate towards Safety Behavior and 3) to analyze the effect of Safety Knowledge and Safety Climate towards Safety Behavior. The sample size of this study was 251 employees of a Ritta Company Limited in Laem Chabang Industrial Estate.

The test results showed that 1) The Empirical evidence demonstrates safety knowledge, safety climate and Safety behavior has a positive and significant effect at a high level 2) Safety Knowledge has a significant positive impact on the Safety Behavior of employees at the level of 0.05, including Safety Knowledge for Occupational Safety and health and Safety Knowledge on work . 3) Safety Climate that has a significant positive influence on Safety Behavior at the level of 0.05, including Stability of the management, Safety training And communication and 4) Safety Knowledge and Safety Climate that have a significant positive impact on the Safety Behavior of employees at the level of 0.05, including for Occupational health and Level of Safety Knowledge , individual Stability of the management, Safety training And communication.
