INVESTMENT MODEL OF BIOFUELS AND BIOCHEMICAL INDUSTRY IN THE AREA OF EASTERN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR (EEC) OF THAILAND

Abstract
The objective of this research is to study the investment model of biofuel and biochemical industry in the area of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) of Thailand. Using a qualitative research methodology with in-depth interviews about the biofuel biochemical industry from farmers who produce upstream raw materials, academic department of agricultural extension, executives of private companies, representative from the department of industrial promotion and representative from the board of Investment, totaling 14 people. The results showed the investment are as follows upstream 1) Promotion of agriculture increase product value 2) Providing knowledge about productivity increase, production process improvement 3) Supporting resources, tools, technology 4) Selection of quality sufficient raw materials 5) Supporting funding sources 6) Supporting local raw materials, products of farmers. Midstream 1) Focusing on efficiency the production, process 2) Encourage entrepreneurs to compete in the market 3) Production of goods, high quality and standards 4) Creating value for customers and paying attention to the environment with care 5) Promoting brand loyalty 6) promoting the logistics system through supply chain. Downstream 1) Focus on strategy that retaining the existing customer base add new customers 2) Focusing on digital marketing 3) Market price control 4) Creating awareness and good responsibility in the environment, including society, culture and communities 5) Proactive sales promotion and marketing activities6) Educating the public about the importance of switching to biofuels and biochemical.
