SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING FOR REINFORCING CAPITAL MARKET IN THAILAND

Abstract
Investors evaluate several information to select the best company to invest. Currently, responsibility investors focus on information about environment, social and governance (ESG). This information reveals risks, responsibility, and sustainability of company. Many ESG disclosure guidelines and ESG indexes for investment are available both in global and country levels. The Stock Exchange of Thailand also supports listed companies to disclose ESG information. The ESG information is valuable information for several groups of users. Therefore, board members of companies and accountants should understand their roles on ESG and reporting process.
