Abstract

Choosing classical singing repertoire and performing a recital are the two important topics related under the process of teaching and learning classical singing, which certainly requires the knowledge in singing and the attention in observing the elements involved. Complications found at times during the process of teaching and learning could have come as a consequence of proper planning shortage. Therefore, issues occurred shall be solved by cooperative program planning between the students and the teacher in order to select the repertoire being used and prepare additional selections while engaged in the ongoing regular sessions throughout. Alongside with the related matters for organizing recital, rehearsal planning, recital-day management and the post-recital evaluation. Readers shall see the total picture of the performance, which will ensue the value of perception and understanding upon the classical singing.
