World-class Standard School Curriculum in 21st Century

Abstract

Education is the key factor to increase population quality. The progression of Thai education is that schools have to be education service in a wider dimension and have a world-class curriculum. Therefore, the world-class standard school had set up with the highlights that the world-class standard school curriculum focusing on critical thinking skills, self-learning, English, and foreign languages as a second language. The improvement of education quality to world-class standard must be conducted in five areas including 1) Development of a curriculum comparable to world-class standards, 2) Development of teaching Science and Mathematics in English, 3) Development of teachers who teach second foreign languages, 4) Development of school administrators, and 5) Development of school management system.
