Risk Management in Educational Quality Analysis of Schools under The Legal Entity Model Management Development Program

The purposes of this research were to study, under the legal entity model management development program, the conceptual framework of risk management, and the current and desirable state of risk management in the educational quality of schools. The study was conducted using a mixed-method approach, and the study’s sampling group comprised 177 subjects from 89 schools, also under the legal entity model management development program. A questionnaire, feasibility and appropriateness evaluation forms, descriptive statistics and a Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified) were applied as the research instruments. The results demonstrate that the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process and conceptual framework of educational quality are in accordance with the student quality standard for basic education, and the risk average mean of the desirable stage of risk management in the educational quality of schools was higher than the current state in all aspects. The risk management process in educational quality which showed the highest needs was risk response (PNImodified = 0.162), followed by reporting and monitoring (PNImodified = 0.131), risk assessment (PNImodified = 0.130), objective setting (PNImodified = 0.126) and risk identification (PNImodified = 0.114).
