Abstract
The purposes of this study were 1) To test the indicators of the tourist guide training management of higher education institutions in Thailand. 2) To recommend the basic tourist guide course training for higher education institutions in Thailand to educational institutions that to provide continuing training by the researcher uses 34 relevant indicators, divided into 7 dimensions with Phayao University and Far Eastern University. The instruments
used in this study were 1) Pre-Post Test, Validity was 0.75. Difficulty ranged from 0.2-0.8. Discrimination ranged from 0.2-0.8. The paired t-test was used. The mean score of the post-
training test was statistically significant higher than before the training at .05. The training increased the knowledge of trainees. 2) The satisfaction questionnaire of the trainees by 34 indicators indicated that the Phayao University trainees most satisfied the qualifications of the lecturer in the field of knowledge, ability and experience in tourist guide. As well as the ability of the lecturer to pass on knowledge (= 4.83, S.D.= 0.38). The Far Eastern University trainees most satisfied in the qualifications of the lecturer in the field of knowledge, ability and experience in tourist guide. (= 4.36, S.D.= 0.49). 3) The indicators from the training manager were used to be an evaluation of the experiment provided benefits and also have the opinion that it is highly effective to use the indicator as a training management facilitator to satisfy the trainees. 4) Assessment by 5 experts from both institutions used all indicators in the training. This results in a smooth running of the training management process and the achievement of the objectives of the training.
