DEVELOPMENT FOR CHUMCHON BANFANG SCHOOL BECOMING A LEARNING SCHOOL: A PARTICIPATORY ACTION RESEARCH

Abstract
The objective of this research was to study the development for Chumchon-banfang school becoming a learning school by the action plan (main intervention) and the appreciative Inquiry approach (additional intervention) within the two cycles of the spiral participatory action research method. Research participants consisted of 43 stakeholders connected with the Chumchonbanfang school. This Research Used Participatory Action Research: PAR. The format emphasizes is critical science. Presented findings based on the critical approach. Statistics show evidence of the documents or other things to be together. The results and reflect changes. Learning that takes place at the level of individuals. The group and the organization (school).
Findings indicated that the Chumchonbanfang school can developed itself to be a learning school.However, it was found that in the recent years the Chumchonbanfang school still could not develop itself to be a learning school. Therefore four projects were initiated to meet a learning schoolboy raising the personal mastery, strategic planning to be a learning school, raising school management to be a learning school, and strengthening and developing teamwork for school development. As a result the Chumchonbanfang school was able to be a learning school.
In addition, it was found that the researcher, teachers and committee members were able to increase their knowledge through these revised initiatives by generating new knowledge, conducting participatory action research and establishment of appreciative inquiry approach to conducting the four development projects simultaneously using the FANG Model.
