Lessons Learned from a Model Farmer in Implementing the Khok Nong Na Model Project in Ban Na Pa Village Moo 5 Bang Ngam Sub-district Si Prachan District Suphan Buri Province

Abstract

This research consists purposes were to draw lessons learned and synthesize knowledge from the implementation of the Khok Nong Na Model by farmers in Ban Na Pa Village, Moo 5 Bang Ngam Sub-district Si Prachan District Suphan Buri Province. This is a qualitative study The research instrument was an interview form and Observation form. The target group consisted of 12 people selected through purposive sampling. Data collected from the interviews and Observation form were then analyzed using content analysis. The findings revealed that the implementation of the project in the study area achieved tangible success. The key supporting factors included knowledge, financial capital, land, geographical conditions and the readiness of the project implementer. These factors contributed to increased income, reduced debt burden, improved quality of life and the development of the area into a learning site for interested individuals. To further promote and strengthen the project in the future, government agencies and relevant organizations should serve as area-based mentors by providing knowledge, resources, technology and practical guidance for adapting the project to the specific conditions of each area and the capacity of individual farmers. This would help ensure that the expansion of the project is appropriate and sustainable.
