Abstract

This research consists purposes was 1. to compare the sepak takraw kicking ability between the experimental group and the control group and 2. to compare the sepak takraw kicking ability before and after the training. This is a quantitative research. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The sample group is 20 athletes from the Sepak Takraw Club of Ubon Ratchathani University who were selected purposively. The data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentages, means, standard deviations, and compared using t-tests and F-tests. The results of the research found that 1) After 6 weeks of training, the experimental group’s sepak takraw skills were significantly higher than before training at the .05 statistical level and 2) When comparing the experimental and control groups, it was found that after 6 weeks of training, the experimental group’s sepak takraw skills were significantly higher than before training at the .05 statistical level. While after 6 weeks of training, the control group’s sepak takraw skills were not different, except for knee-kick sepak takraw skills, which were significantly higher at the .05 statistical level. When comparing the experimental and control groups, it was found that the group that trained the neuromuscular coordination (nine-box table) had better sepak takraw skills than the control group that trained the normal sepak takraw skills at the .05 statistical level.
