This research consists purposes were 1. to develop an aural skills training set for rhythm patterns based on Carl Orff's concept for creative music students at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University 2. to compare basic aural skills for rhythm patterns before and after using the aural skills training set based on Carl Orff's concept and 3. to study student satisfaction with the aural skills training set based on Carl Orff's concept. This study is quasi-experimental quantitative research. The research instruments consisted of a basic aural rhythmic pattern skills training package based on Carl Orff's concept, an assessment form for evaluating basic aural rhythmic pattern skills and an interview form on students' satisfaction toward learning through the basic aural rhythmic pattern skills training package based on Carl Orff's concept. The sample consisted of 30 students from the Creative Music program, years 2-4, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University, academic year 2025 and the experimental group consisted of 7 second-year students from the Creative Music program, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University, academic year 2025, obtained through cluster random sampling using academic year as the sampling unit. The data collected from the research instruments were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean and standard deviation, as well as a non-parametric test the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The research findings revealed that 1) The effectiveness of the basic aural skills training set in rhythm patterns based on Karl Orff's concept showed E1/E2 values of 72.86/82.14. 2) The basic aural skills in rhythm patterns of students who learned using the training set were significantly higher after the intervention than before, at a statistical significance level of .05 and 3) Student satisfaction with the basic aural skills training set in rhythm patterns based on Karl Orff's concept was very high. Specifically, students recognized the importance of the learning content and activities in the training set, found the duration and learning environment very appropriate and saw significant benefits to their learning.
