Guidelines for Developing the Implementation of Strategies of Schools in the Education Fund Project Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

This research consisted of two purposes 1. to study the operational conditions based on the strategies of schools under the Education Fund Project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and 2. to propose guidelines for developing the operations based on the strategies of schools under the Education Fund Project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. This study employed a mixed-methods design, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research instruments were a questionnaire and an interview form. The sample consisted of 62 school administrators and teachers from schools participating in the Education Fund Project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and 7 experts who served as key informants, all selected through purposive sampling. Data from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics, namely the population mean and population standard deviation, while data from the interviews were analyzed using content analysis. The findings revealed that 1) the overall operational conditions based on the strategies of schools under the Education Equity Fund Project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province were at the highest level (µ = 4.61, σ = 0.46). The aspect with the highest mean score was the development of students’ characteristics in terms of discipline, morality, and ethics (µ = 4.69, σ = 0.53), followed by the development of life skills and vocational skills (µ = 4.64, σ = 0.55), whereas the aspect with the lowest mean score was the development of teachers’ potential in learning management (µ = 4.52, σ = 0.43) and 2) the guidelines for developing the operations based on the strategies of schools under the Education Equity Fund Project in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province comprised 34 practical items in five aspects. These included seven items for developing teachers’ potential in learning management, seven items for improving academic achievement, seven items for developing students’ characteristics in terms of discipline, morality and ethics, six items for developing life skills and vocational skills, and seven items for quality school administration.
