Abstract

This article discusses the role of artificial intelligence in human resource management, ethical challenges and technical limitations, and strategies for effective and human-centered implementation. Artificial intelligence plays a significant role in all major human resource management functions, including recruitment, which reduces time by up to 75%, highly accurate workforce planning (up to 90%) and real-time performance management, which reduces employe turnover by 25%. However, the use of artificial intelligence also faces challenges such as algorithmic bias, privacy violations, and the devaluation of human dignity. The article also proposes important practices, including human final decision-making, selecting artificial intelligence that explains the origins of decisions, and focusing on enhancing employes' digital skills, so that AI can be a tool to empower humans under the principles of sustainable governance.
