The Developing of Transformational Leadership Program for School Administrator Affiliated of Kalasin Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the current situation, desired situation, and needs of transformational leadership of school administrators under the Office of Kalasin Primary Educational Service Area 2 and 2. To develop a program to promote transformational leadership of school administrators under the Office of Kalasin Primary Educational Service Area 2. This study employed a quantitative research design. The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire and an evaluation form. The sample group included 123 school administrators and deputy administrators, selected based on Krejcie and Morgan’s (1970) sample size table and chosen through stratified random sampling. In addition, the target group comprised 5 individuals selected through purposive sampling. Data obtained from the questionnaire and program evaluation form were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and modified needs analysis (PNImodified). The research findings revealed that 1) The current status of transformational leadership of educational administrators was at a moderate level (x̅= 3.22, S.D. = 0.85) and the desired status of transformational leadership of educational administrators was at the highest leve (x̅= 4.64, S.D. = 0.54). As for the need index, it was found that the highest need index value was the aspect of individual consideration (PNImodified = 0.477) and 2) The development of a program to promote transformational leadership of educational administrators under the Kalasin Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 consisted of 2.1) principles 2.2) objectives 2.3) activity content 2.4) development methods 2.5) evaluation and evaluation results of the program to promote transformational leadership of educational administrators. Under the jurisdiction of Kalasin Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, overall, the suitability was at a high level (x̅= 4.47, S.D. = 0.62) and the possibility was at the highest level (x̅= 4.70, S.D. = 0.46)
