This research consists purposes were 1. to examine the historical background of Kosum Phisai District and 2. to create a performance based on the history of Phra Sun Thron Pi pit. This study employed a qualitative research approach. The target group consisted of eight participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected from documentary sources and in-depth interviews. The collected data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings revealed that 1) Historical Background of Phra Sun Thron Pi pit Kosum Phisai District Maha Sarakham Province The historical background of Phra Sun Thron Pi pit in Kosum Phisai District Maha Sarakham Province dates back to 1881 (B.E. 2424) during the reign of King Rama V. At that time, Phra Charoen Ratchadet, the governor of Maha Sarakham, submitted a petition requesting the establishment of Ban Dong Wang Tha Hor Khuang as a new town. His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) graciously granted the royal approval and bestowed the name “Kosum Phisai” Thao Suriyo (Suea) was subsequently appointed as Phra Sun Thron Pi pit, the first governor of the town. This appointment marked a significant foundation for the formation of the town and the consolidation of the Kosum Phisai community. Phra Sun Thron Pi pit played an important role in both civil administration and military affairs, particularly in defending the town against the Haw Wars and participating in military engagements during the territorial dispute of R.S. 112 and 2) Creative Performance and Dissemination of the Dance Drama “Fon Buang Suang Phra Sun Thron Pi pit” to the Community The creative performance titled Fon Buang Suang Phra Sun Thron Pi pit was developed and disseminated to the community through a structured performance process as follows 2.1) Origin of the Performance: The performance was creatively developed based on the historical narrative of Phra Sun Thron Pi pit of Kosum Phisai District Maha Sarakham Province 2.2) Music: Northeastern Thai (Isan) traditional musical instruments were employed, with newly composed musical patterns created specifically for the performance. The accompanying music consisted of instrumental compositions with lyrics, and the melody conveyed the historical background and significance of Phra Sun Thron Pi pit and Kosum Phisai District 2.3) Performers: The performance involved eight performers 2.4) Costumes: The costumes were designed in accordance with traditional attire worn by women in the Isan region, reflecting local identity and cultural aesthetics and 2.5) Performance Design: The choreography was carefully devised through the creation and structuring of dance movements, with the dance sequences designed to correspond directly to the song lyrics in order to effectively communicate the narrative content
