Results of Yoga Asana Activities Affecting Early Childhood Concentration at Sattaban School Group Under the Office of the Private Education Promotion Board

This research consists purposes were 1. to study the effects of yoga asana activities on the concentration development of early childhood students and 2. to compare the concentration development of early childhood students before and after participating in yoga asana activities. This research employed a quantitative approach. The research instruments consisted of a questionnaire for assessing concentration in early childhood students and a yoga asana activity plan. The sample group comprised 30 kindergarten level 2 students at Wat Na Yia Witthaya School, under the Office of the Private Education Commission, during the second semester of the 2024 academic year. The sample was obtained through cluster random sampling. Data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics percentage, mean and standard deviation and compared using a dependent-samples t-test. The results of the study revealed the following 1 The development of concentration among early childhood students who participated in yoga asana activities revealed that before the activities, the children’s concentration was at a low level, with a mean score of 10.47. After participating in the yoga asana activities, their concentration increased to a high level, with a mean score of 24.23 and 2) A comparison of the children’s concentration before and after the yoga asana activities showed a significant difference. Participation in the yoga asana activities resulted in a statistically significant increase in concentration at the .05 level.
